Indian Summer Hiatus
I haven't logged into my website for a month. I've had idea book prompts floating around in my brain, but I kinda figured no one was doing them. I've been so busy lately, though I suppose that's a perma-scuse that doesn't really solve any problems right? I think what I'd like to do with this blog, unless I decide to junk it once and for all when my hosting expires in March, is to treat it more like I treat my livejournal. (Yes, I know...) I still have mine as an online personal journal which I keep to be frank about things I don't feel comfortable writing down on paper. Each space I use to document serves entirely different purposes. I have a writing notebook, a proper journal, and my sketchbook. All of which I love. On the internet, I write here (sometimes), blog visually appealing things (mostly hot babes) on tumblr, and write really personal things on livejournal. I also keep all of my writing-writing on google drive, which I've recently become obsessed with. (Recently being, within the last year or so.)
Every so often, I'll do a "blog check in" by redoing all of the exercises in my blogcademy workbook (which I LOVE), but I think what I've come to realize is that I don't really care about who's reading my blog or not. Something that was hanging me up for a hot minute was this thought that I should care. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's not that I refuse to care forever, but when I have an audience of maybe two people (hi DJ!) I just want to stream-of-consciousness document my life.
I had a really awesome list of what I'd been doing on hiatus that I'd worked on for an hour or so, then wordpress ate it :c
The long and the short is, life is good. Also, don't try and imbed instagrams on your freaking blog posts if you want the rest of the post to y'know... show up.
Whatever, I'm going to bed now.
